I am trying to identify a certain type of flower/weed--assistance would be appreciated. Can you help?

The plant has thick, reddish leaves at the top of the stem and grows vertically with light purple blossoms.

The blossoms are almost bell-shaped, but they grow outwards (not downwards) and have five %26quot;petals%26quot; (not individual), two larger ones facing down, two to the side, and two smaller ones reaching upward. The inside of the blossoms are whitish, and the they grow in rings around the stem. I would estimate that the tallest plants are five or six inches tall.

I hope this is not too confusing! I%26#039;m no pro with flowers. If it helps, they usually grow alongside dandelions in my yard.

Thanks so much for any feedback!
